Have No Fear

Maybe you have heard of repair man from Nickelodeon or possibly Handi man from in living color, but have you ever heard of a true hero named the Lord. A real hero we can trust in without fear!

Question:

Why does the world scare you when the Lord exists?

Yes there are bills, a diagnosis from a doctor that could lead to death, a hard headed child, a non believing husband, possibly an abusive spouse, or a future your afraid to step out on faith to receive, but there is one that provides protection for it all and that is the Lord.

Here are three reasons why Believers should have no fear:

  1. The Lord provides direction for us to be strong and of good courage as “No man shall be able to stand before you all the days of your life; as I was with Moses, so I will be with you. I will not leave you nor forsake you”(Joshua 1:5). Trials will occur but we know if we follow the Law of the Lord, meditate on the book day and night, and do not turn from it then shall we prosper wherever we go (Joshua 1:7-8)

  2. “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind” ( 2 Timothy 1:7). We must have more faith & trust in the Lord. As we go through the trials we must know we will be okay!

  3. We are encouraged by Moses to be strong and of good courage as “the Lord, he is the One who goes before you. He will be with you, He will not leave you nor forsake you; do not fear nor be dismayed” (Deuteronomy 31:8). Why should we fear when the Lord is near! All throughout the word we are shown how the Lord provides, protects, and loves. He gives clarity in having patience as “we sit in darkness, the Lord will be a light to me”(Micah 7:8)

Now ask yourself Will you trust in the Lord?

Be Encouraged:

Failure is not final, but Faith must be our fuel. Be encouraged as believers that God is. The Lord can transform our deepest failures without holding them against us. Lean on the Lord as he is Here waiting for us to be Solely dependent on him. If afflicted turn to the Lord, if feeling weak boast in the weakness and let Gods glory shine. Trust in the Lord as that is what gives us Victory.
