Stand

During times of trial do you act in ignorance

Would you rather show you are right then to walk righteously

Do you walk by what it looks like rather than what it is

Or do you Stand knowing who your Lord is

Throughout this life of flesh trials and temptation will occur. Temptation only becomes sin when it is fulfilled by action. With so many people singing I will wait for you the true question is will you stand for the Lord. Here are three tools we can utilize in order to stand for the Lord.

Through Conviction:

Actions may have been done out of ignorance of what we were taught in the world, or even shown by people of the world yet that is not how we should behave as God does not listen to sinners ( John 9:31). When we feel pressed, afflicted , or even persecuted we do not act as the world rather we move in faith as believers. "For we carry around in our body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our body" ( 2 Corinthians 4: 8-10).

Through Repentance:

once our eyes are open and we become aware of the truth we must repent and return to the Lord when we feel convicted (Acts 3:19). As not everyone who says Lord will enter heaven but only the ones who do the Will of the father ( Matthew 7: 21-27). So we must repent to wash away the old body of unrighteousness and enter the new body of Christ ( 1 John 1:9).

Through Faith:

once we enter the body of Christ we must have Faith. As Faith is a currency that we can be confident in knowing what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see ( Hebrews 11:1). By faith Noah, Abraham, and even Sarah trusted in the Will of the father so that God was not ashamed to be called their God ( Hebrews 11:7-16). All throughout Hebrews 11 we are shown standing for the Lord through faith only provides greatness through his Will. So I ask will you Stand for the Lord.

A time of Prayer:

Lord I thank you. Lord you are worthy of all the praise and all of the honor. I thank you for your word being the light and way of direction for our lives. I thank you that through times of trial you have provided the tools we need to Stand. Father I pray for those who may read and come across this blog will repent and return home to you. As stated in Ephesians 3 I pray that through your glorious riches we are strengthened with the power through your spirit so that Christ may dwell in our hearts through faith. I pray we are rooted and established in love as you are our rock and we have a strong foundation through you. I am confident in your word Lord and I pray your Will continue to be done.
